Buying patterns here are shaped entirely by distance and heat. NT orders are the largest per basket of any state, because a restock that takes most of a week is not something anyone wants to repeat often, and the ice and cold-fruit flavour profiles dominate almost to the exclusion of the sweeter blends. Devices are best kept out of a parked car in Darwin or Alice — sustained high temperatures shorten battery life on any disposable.

Build season storms and Top End flooding between November and April can close highways and pause the route.
